Minor mistake on money order. Some help?

Recently I made the mistake of jotting down my old Zip Code (98155) instead of my current one (98178) in the Address line. Since I was using a pen, I had to cross it off heavily and write 98178 below it. I know the error is not as significant as writing down the wrong name of the person I'm sending it to, so I'm hoping this money order will still be valid? I haven't been able to get the money order to pay for an eBay auction in awhile so I need to send it ASAP .

2. You should be fine. If they have any problems, they should be able to contact you via e-mail about it. since you said its for an e-bay auction you need to get them the money asap. Go ahead and send it. They should already have all your mailing info anyway. All they need is the money.
3. In cases like this, when you change something, initial it which means you made the change. Banks allow that on checks you write and make a mistake.
