  1. I hope this helps this is what I found for you.... No, you cannot change your Yahoo! ID in Yahoo! Auctions. To attempt to reduce fraud against Yahoo! Auctions participants, buyers, and sellers are prevented from registering for multiple accounts. Sellers and buyers must verify their identity which is associated with one Yahoo! ID only. Identity verification is one step that Yahoo! takes to make a safer environment for auctions participants. All bidders and sellers are required to provide personally identifiable information (Name, Address, Phone number, Date of Birth, and either a Drivers License Number or your Social Security Number) to verify their identity before they can place bids or submit items on Yahoo! Auctions. Yahoo! takes your security seriously and takes reasonable steps to protect your information. Yahoo! Auctions will never request account information via email and we will never initiate a call, fax, or letter requesting your account information. Responding to such requests can put your account at risk. For transactions using this service, we use SSL technology to encrypt the transmission of data. After the process is complete, some data is hashed and encrypted, which allows us to ensure that there is only one Yahoo! ID associated with an identity that is allowed to bid and to sell. Good Luck.
