Belt Auction

What are my legal options with an online company in Japan?

I am in the US and have been a customer with an auction agent based in Japan for over two years with previous satisfaction. Basically, through Paypal you send them a deposit and can bid on Yahoo! Japan auctions through their website since most sellers on Y!J will not sell outside the country. In September I submitted a $200 deposit to bid with and still have $120 left of it for the fees/shipping. By the end of Oct my items had arrived at their office. I have sent over six shipping total requests and two emails with no response. I can't do a Resolution Dispute with PP because it is outside 45 days, though I did send a money request through PP to have my deposit returned until I hear back. I am writing a letter that I will be sending by registered mail at the end of the week. I would like to include that by January 1st I will seek legal representation to have my deposit returned if they don't contact me to resolve by that date. Do I have any legal options?

  1. If you saved everything pertaining to your transactions or can get the info you got them. Then they will have no alternative but to business with you. If you dont they pretty much have you and can do you wrong.
