how can i find out where and when local police auction is on? Bristol uk?

my bike was stolen and being single mum not working have to find another cheap as it is my main transport. Anyone know how i can find out where these auctions take place i heard u can get bikes for a few pounds if lucky!I have tried searching on internet but no joy?
