How can I find out about upcoming police auctions in my area?

I've looked a bit on Google and checked the website for the local PD. Thanks!

1. If you can't find anything on line, check the newspapers, or call a few of the departments in your area. The departments are notified as to upcoming auctions.
2. Most of the time this is done at the county level. Check the Sheriffs website.
3. I go to the GovDeals websites, it list a lot of county and city surplus and they are auctions. You can also check with your state surplus office too, some turn their stuff in to avoid the hassle. 4. Join a car auction listing site. They'll tell you about all of the police auctions in your city. http://www.mycarauctionreview.com has a review of the best ones you can join.
