Where can you get information on a local car police auction?

I live in the Sacramento region and I feel like buying a truck or SUV for less than a thousand bucks right now

2. go to your town home page and see if they have any.
3. Ask your local police stations if they have any auctions for impounded vehicles.... but I wouldn't touch those with a 10 foot pole.... might be a crime scene or someone might have died in it... bad vibes.....
4. www.firstgov.org government website for gov auctions and marshall siezures. keep searching around the site and there are tons going on.
