- For most of the auctions you need to be a dealer or with a dealer. However I know in new england some auto auctions are for the general public. I would suggest looking for those online or trying to find someone your friends or family might know who know a dealer/salesman. You can also go to a dealership and tell them you are looking for a certain kind of car and they might go to an auction to look for it for you. But prepare to be taken advantage of if they are the ones buying the car so you can then buy it from them. (they will jack up the price)
- All the Manheim auctions(the official dealer auctions) across the country require you to be a registered buyer with a dealership to even enter the auction. Public auctions are generally a rip off. Try this website for the lowest prices for whatever type of vehicle you want to purchase. http://www.autotrader.com./
