Does the government or local police auction off cars that have been repossed or confiscated?
There are tons of websites which cost money, are they legit?

- First of all, yes they do. The web sites that want money, are basically legit. But they are selling you something you can get for free. Look for sites that have .gov as the extension. It's be a while since I've looked on line for an auction. I once called the DEA in Miami and spoke to the receptionist and she gave me a number to call that was a recording and it listed the auctions and what cars they had. So I wouldn't pay for the info. It's free. Try www.gsa.gov and see if that will do it.
- They are 100% legit. Every day, the government confiscates, seizes and repossesses thousands of Vehicles. These vehicles are usually typically listed at 90% OFF their original value and auctions usually start at $100. Two months ago,I bouht a near new SUV from online police auction. It only cost me $730 and i have not had one problem with it yet . I followed the guide on http://www.usedcarsinfo.info/index.php?t=usedcar .That site lists top 5 Police auction sites and help you choose the best one. Good luck!
